Essay Question: Explain how the Columbian Exchange affected the people of Middle America.
People living in Middle America today are a blend of the native people who lived there, Europeans and Africans. The main language and religion of Middle America comes from the Spanish. New foods such as bananas, rice and yams were introduced to the diet of people living in Middle America. Livestock such as cattle, pigs and horses, were also introduced to Middle America and now play an important role in the lives of people that live there.
