How does cargo heat work?

The cargo heat valves will attempt to maintain 45°F by using the control valve in each section. The control valves will open until the comparement is 47°F and close until lowered to a Boeing prederminted temp, and reopen.

What does an OVHT light on the cargo panel mean?

The control valve(s) did not close and the temp is above 90°F.

How do you control the shutoff valves in the cargo compartments?

Using the cargo heat switches.

What does a BLEED light mean?

Overpressure inside the duct.



HPSOV or PRV might be stuck open.

What ducts supply air to the PACKs?

Left and right respectively

Where in the bleed system is the ADP located?

Body duct
