Active ROM

isotonic- the pt performs the exercise

Aerobic

with air or oxygen. Work that uses oxygen at a rate in which the cardio/respiratory systems can replenish the oxygen in muscle.

Orthopneic Position

Position in which pt is sitting up and leaning forward. Allows breathing

Allows for better breathing, eating, hygiene, and respirations. Supine with back up from 30 degrees-90 degrees.

Hypertrophy
