We would then go to an outdoor aquatics facility for about four hours. The pool had a full set, platform tower and six one meter boards and four three meter boards. We would then come back to the camp house to have dinner. After dinner we had some free time before lecture where John and various people that are important in the diving world, would talk to us for an hour or two about different aspects of the sport of diving. After lecture we would have evening activities. These consisted of water balloon fights, bonfires, tie dying shirts or kickball. After evening activities, we would have some free time before chores. Chores consisted of each room being assigned a place to clean. My room had to clean the kitchen every night. After chores, we would get ready for bed and lights out at 10:30. Before I attended this camp, I had been seriously thinking about quitting the sport of diving. I had just come back from a four month break due to a knee injury and when I came back I was back at square one. I started getting frustrated and the team I was on at the time really wasn’t working for me.
