As primary Performance Evaluations Manager, I have met and exceeded all expectations within this critical element. All evaluations completed in this timeframe were completed in accordance with BUPERSINST 1610.1D, the updated version of the instruction. Generating and maintaining an accurate tracking system ensured a smooth process for the completion of all performance evaluations. Over 60 E6 evaluations were completed, consisting of 49 regular periodic, seven detachment, two special, and seven promotion evaluations. 24 E7 to E9 Detachment of Reporting Senior evaluations, in 4 summary groups, were completed flawlessly, in accordance within CSS Notice 1610 timelines. Additionally, a “PRT” column was added to track the Pass/Fail for the physical readiness test off all personnel within each summary group. Organization of summary groups prior to the deadlines was a key factor in the smooth and timely processing of all documents. I produced a new Performance Evaluation and Fitness Report routing cover sheet that consisted of a checklist for pertinent information, leaving space for additional notes that may be vital to the routing process, used consistently by myself and the Command Master Chief. Being that more than 90% of evaluations are for service members at various Learning Sites, I ensured flawless organization and distribution to each Learning Site, consistently tracking the status of all evaluations. Upon the return of all fully-signed evaluations in every summary group, I copied, filed, mailed each one on time and with 100% accuracy. This is a critical element that I enjoy doing because of the trust my Administrative Officer and Command Master Chief has in me to complete everything correctly. Not only is their trust important but the trust from the Learning Sites is a vital component to the program’s success.
