Performs recreation work in managing the operations of multiple school community center facilities. The work involves planning, implementing, coordinating and evaluating activities, programs, sports, classes, special events, and camps for the community. Responsible for facility scheduling and supervision, program and facility budget, purchasing of equipment and supplies, recruiting, hiring, training and supervision of assigned personnel as well as the recruitment of volunteers for multiple centers. The worker initiates own daily assignments, follow through on matters and uses independent judgment and training to take appropriate action to deal with standard recurring situations.
