Organization

Google was established in 1996 by Larry Page and Sergey Brin while they were Ph.D. understudies at Stanford University, California. Google today is a multinational technology company with its headquarters in Mountain View, California. It operates in areas of Internet-related products and services that incorporate web based advertising technologies, search engine, cloud computing, software, and hardware. A large portion of its income are derived from AdWords, a web based advertising service.

Nexus Program

Pixel and Pixel XL are Android cell phones composed and promoted by Google. They were announced on October 4, 2016, and were also the first smartphones to launched with the latest version of Android(Nougat).Google beforehand co-created lead Android gadgets through the Nexus program, which were intended to be reference gadgets for the Android platform for different OEMs to use as a guide for their own. However they held internal similarities to different gadgets made by their respective partners. Under the new hardware head Rick Osterloh who used to work in Motorola Mobility, Google started development of an ecosystem of in-house products and platforms, including the Google Home environment, Google Assistant, and Google Daydream. Pixel was hence the first device having its end-to-end user experience to be controlled by Google. All things considered, unlike the Nexus gadgets, the Pixel was designed and marketed as a Google product; in spite of the fact that the organization utilized HTC a contract manufacturer, Google has expressed clearly that the Pixel is not based on any current HTC
