Explain The Reasons Why Offices Should Have A Well Written Payment/Collection

There are many reasons why offices should have a well written payment/collection policy. The office needs to let the patients to be inform on what they are responsible for.
The office staff should be familiar with the policies so it could help make the patient’s part easier. Most patients just only care about is if their insurances covers the visit and what they will have to pay their self. Also to prevent any confusion so in case the patient doesn't know why their bill is the way it is the staff should be able to explain why it is.
The consequences of an unclear is the office won't be paid what they're owed. Also the patient might not want to got to that office if they weren't formally educated about the policy and might not go there again.
