I definitely agree with you when a patient is admitted to a medical facility whether or not they are insured, they receive the same care as a patient who has insurance. There have been many similar cases, where we are taking care of patients’ that have no insurance. It is also very true patients’ can be very demanding. As health care professionals we all have come across patients’ that tell us “I pay your salary, otherwise you would not be working”. On our medical-surgical floor we had a patient that was very rude to nursing staff, and use foul language literally with every sentence. The patient was not a happy camper.
