“Americans Gift To My Generation”

Charles E. Jefferson said “ A man is a patriot if his heart beats to his country.” I believe that because if you believe and are with your country you would be a patriot because your heart is with your country. I am going to talk about Freedom/choice , Decisions/ Actions, and being a patriot because they all mean alot to me.
If the veterans didn't fight for us we wouldn't have freedom and freedom of choice. Also if the veterans lost the war we would be speaking British and not American. I am glad that we have these amazing veterans to go through and fight in the war. Some people even lost their lives, and some people were hurt so bad that they past away even before they saw what they were fighting for. But some veterans did see what they were fighting for and they were fighting for and they were fighting for freedom and choice. Freedom and choice is very special to me because if I didn't have it I would be very scared, but that is why I like my veterans.

I like making some of my own decisions, my parents, teachers/principals/mayors/governors/laws make most of my decisions for me two but I like making my own decisions on what to wear, music, instruments, top picks, supplies, and books to read. I also like to make most of my actions but mostly me but some people have me to do the actions that they would want me to do to like for example my parents, teachers, and principals. It would be weird not making some of my actions because I might have to follow some rules of the other countries and that would be weird because I am so used to the rules in our

Do we really owe our veterans? In life you're going to face death whether you want to or not. You don’t know when it's going to come buts it's going to come there's no escaping. Some of us put ourselves in positions where it can come early for example the jobs we choose like veterans there fighting for us, we didn't make nor told them to they do it because it's something they want to do the only thing we can do is give our appreciation because they put themselves in that position to fight on the battlefield we shouldn't half to owe them anything.…

Why I Appreciate America’s Veterans Veterans. Veterans are individuals who served in the military. They are brave men and women that came forward to protect our freedom when we needed to create a nation where freedom would reign. They would risk their lives, so that we could live free. They answered the call, willing to give it all.…

In America, we have the right to vote, work, drive and many more activities we can partake in and to this we owe our veterans. It’s because of them that I can walk freely; they inspire me. Throughout their days of duty, they were motivated to fight for their values. They act as a martyr for the country and that’s a job most people are far from willing to take. Most people in America have nice lives and it's because of the women and men who serve for this nation.…

The question being asked of me is “Why Veterans are Important to Our Nation’s History and Future?” Veterans are important to me because I live with two of them and I have a lot of them in my family. Without them, I wouldn’t know the reason why we have people sacrificing themselves for our country. My Grandpa, Roy Noble, always said that “War is not good but fighting for our country is,” I didn’t really understand that until I realized without them we wouldn’t have a free country. Britain would have taken over and we would have a queen instead of a president, or something like that.…

Veterans are without a doubt heroes, but they are also victims. War has done great damage to our soldiers. PTSD, amputation, depression, loss, and wounds to the body and heart haunt our veterans forever. A normal life for veterans after a war is difficult. Homelessness, lack of jobs, and lack of healthcare for our veterans prevent them from the life they deserve.…

If we did not win this war we wouldn’t have won our independence and we wouldn’t be the same country we are today. If we didn’t have these veterans we would have lost the Civil war and we would still have slaves and a lot of famous people in history wouldn’t exist and we would still have racism. Veterans show us how to respect the people we see every day. They teach us to not give up till we have success and achieve our goals. Veterans have risked their lives for us and that we should be grateful for.…

What Patriotism Means To Me: Patriotism is standing up for your country, government, leaders, and your family. The truest definition of patriotism is seeing people giving up their time, energy, homes, and loved ones to fight for our country. For example, my Pappy served from the year 1968 until 1970 on the U.S.S. Ranger CVA-61. Whenever another ship came alongside theirs, they had someone riding on a full-size fiberglass horse, while they played the William Tell Overture, and that person was also holding the U.S. flag. While Pappy was on his way home from Da Nang, Vietnam, he rode an airplane that stopped at the edge of the jungle to pick up soldiers who still had their weapons with them, and were ready for anything.…
