Here I (Steven Hankins) am, in middle of the school day walking through the brick cafeteria. Accepting an award on American patriots for 1st place. How did this happen?, I questioned myself. I never even tried. There I was accepting the award. But this is where the whole thing started, on one peculiar 5th grade day at Wilcox Elementary (right across the park from Hawthorne).
