    I ran as fast as my legs could carry me and quickly grabbed the red lighter my father had placed by the fireplace. I made it back to the room safe and was determined to get rid of these nasty unwanted guests. The shoe caught flame and we opened the door so that the horrific smell of burning rubber would travel through the whole cottage.
