Music in which several different tunes are played or sung at the same time. |

Permission for a prisoner to be released before their period in prison is finished, with the agreement that they will behave well. He's been released on parole. |

A group of people who have been chosen to listen to all the facts in a trial in a law court and to decide if a person is guilty or not guilty, or if a claim has been proved. Members of the jury. |

Acquittal |
The decision of a court that someone is not guilty. The first trial ended in a hung jury, the second in acquittal. |

Inquest |
An official process to discover the cause of someone's death. An inquest is always held if murder is suspected. |
