1917. The U.S. federal law passed shortly after entering WWI, on June 15, 1917. The Espionage Act also conveyed false reports or false statements with the intent to intefere without operation or success of military or naval forces of the U.S. to promote its success with whoever and whenever the U.S. is at war.

What was the Sedition Act of 1918?
The Sedition Act was the amendment to the Espionage Act of 1917, which was passed at the urging of President Woodrow Wilson, who was concerned that dissent, in the time of war, was a significant threat to morale. However, the Congress repealed the Sedition Act on Dec. 13, 1920.

Explain the 1920s Jazz Age.
In the 1920s Jazz Age, it was the second Industrial Revolution that was about consumer goods in which machinery and domestic items such as limited finite in urban area and city-base electricity were sold or installed into homes. Also, during the Jazz Age, cars were affordable by most middle-class individuals. Henry Ford made this all possible by moving assembly lines, workers were paid $5 a day and every worker were force to buy the only model at the time, the model-T or Ten-Lizzie which had a first-real sense of mobility. Of course with cars, later came the traffic lights.
