He declared war, tried to cut off England's trade: Continental system. Invaded Russia 1812, they scorched(Scorched earth) to get rid of food.

As retreating from england he was arrested and sent to exile in Ebna. He escaped and got military on his side and fought English at waterloo but Duke of wellington beats him.
