The system of commercial blockades of Britain and continental Europe, set in place by Napoleon with the intent of destroying Britain's economy.
Continental System
Napoleon decided to invade this country. Napoleon had many new recruits from conquered territories who felt no loyalty to Napoleon. Many of the army supplies were lost or spoiled along the rough roads. July heat made men and horses miserable. Many men suffered from disease, desertion, and hunger, which thinned the army's ranks. The country's winter was the worst thing the French army had ever encountered. Only Napoleon and 94,00 out of 600,00 men escaped.

Using of terrain to "melt away" no uniforms.

The Portugese burned all the food and military supplies the French may use to help themselves with.

Napoleon rules France and went to war during this time.
100 Days
Great Britain, Prussia, Russia, and Austria banded togerther to defeat Napoleon. The Duke of Wellington defeats Napoleon and Napoleon is arrested and banished to the island of St. Helena.
