Work is the product of force & the distance in the direction of the force. It's formulae is :force×distance or force cos©×distance. |

Differentiate between conservative & non conservative force fields. |
Conservative force fields are those fields in which the work done in them depends only on the position not on the path. Hence such work can be recovered in its original form. Non conservative force fields however cannot have the work done in them conserved in its original form as some are lost in other energy forms. |
