Adjective

A word that tells us more about a noun. It "describes" or "modifies" a noun

A word that often comes BEFORE a noun.


And sometimes it comes AFTER a verb.


But it can also modify pronouns.

Verb

A word used to describe an action, state, or occurrence

A word that characteristically is the grammatical center of a predicate and expresses an act

Adverb

A word or phrase that modifies or qualifies an adjective, verb, or other same type of word or a word group

It typically express manner, place, time, frequency, degree, level of certainty
