Birth
The Spring of April 1564. Born on St. George's Day.
Family
3rd child of John and Mary Shakespeare. John was a wool and leaver worker. Mary was a kind and intelligent woman who had a difficult life.
Early Life
Learned Latin in School. When he was a child he went to a festival made by Robert Dudley. William Shakespeare did not go to a University. He owned the second largest house in Stratford and he was a landowner.
Marriage and Children
Anne Hafowit was William Shakespeare's wife. He had 3 children and one spouse. His spouse was Anna Hathaway who was born shortly after Shakespeares wedding. Two years later he had twins.The twins names were Hamnet Shakespeare and Judith Quiney. Susana Hall was also one of Shakespeares children. Susana was baptised May 26, 1583. Hamnet and Judith were baptised February 2, 1585. Hamnet died of unknown causes at age 11 and was buried August 11, 1596.
Death
William Shakespeare died at the age of 52 on his birthday in 1616. He supposedly died by drinking too much wine and had too many beans.
