Billy hoped to get the money for the pups by selling the fishermen, “...crawfish, minnows, and fresh vegetables.” Also he planned to sell berries and trapped animals.

The first time Billy went to Tahlequah he saw a sheriff, and got scared for his life. on page 34 it depicts “The closer he came, the more frightened I got. I knew it was the end for me.” Billy also saw a full reflection of himself for the first time.
How did we know that the stationmaster is a kind man?
We know the stationmaster is kind because he is peaceful and respectful. Also because he has a nice conversation with Billy.
Describe the fight Billy has with the gang of boys.
In the fight between Billy and the gang it starts when the girl pups ear gets pulled. Billy was holding his own until he realized he was outnumbered. Then he fell to his stomach when the Marshall saved him.

How are Billy and the dogs able to keep the mountain lion away?

Billy and his dogs keep away the mountain lion by making a giant fire because lions are afraid of fire. Also by throwing rocks down the mountainside.
