What is a computer?

Anything that has: Inputs, storage, processing, and outputs.


Most modern computers are electronic (like phones and washing machines) but that wan't always the case.

Ways in which they could malfunction

- Lose money (e.g. if a bank transition doesn't go through).


- Lose information (e.g. if an email gets lost).


- Damage equipment (e.g. if a robot arm starts waving around).


- Hurt people (e.g. if a driverless car crashes).
