Does Nature or Nurture explain sexual orientation?
sexual orientation is biologically determined, and as far as we know today there is no evidence that environmental influences play any role initially at all. It seems that the biological input must be there first, and then environmental factors interact with the biological dimensions.
Does the unconscious or conscious mind make the best decision?
our brain functions in a state of dual-processing; there is a constant stream of information being processed by the brain, but only certain segments of that information is actually focused upon. Therefore, our unconscious brain, at any point in time, most likely has significantly more information available for making decisions and determining our actions.
