What happens if someone doesn't drink enough water?

You become dehydrated when you don't drink enough water. You'll notice your mouth will become dry and sticky along with a sense of thirst. Other effects include tiredness, poor concentration, headache and dizziness or light headedness

How does the body maintain its fluid balance?

Through a action of substances called electrolytes, mineral compounds that, when dissolved in water, become electrically charged particles called ions.

What is Hydrolysis and condensation

When water reacts with a chemical to break it into smaller molecules is known as hydrolysis. When water is formed as one of the products when two molecules join together the reaction is described as condensation.
