What are wages?
A wage is a regular payment paid to people who work. It is typically paid on an hourly rate (e.g. £6.00 an hour) on a daily or weekly basis.
What is a salary?
A salary is a regular monthly or yearly pay. It is made from the employer to the employee, especially a professional or a white-collar worker.
