What is an acute angle?
An angle with a measure of less than 90 degrees.
What is a right angle?
An angle with a measure of 90 degrees.
What is an obtuse angle?
An angle with a measure of greater than 180 degrees.
What is a complementary angles?
Two angles whose measures have a sum of 90 degrees.
What are a supplementary angles?
Two angles whose measures have a sum of 180 degrees.
What are verticle angles?
Are congruent angles formed by two intersecting lines.
What are interior angels?
Are angles that lie between the two lines that are cut by a transversal.
What are exterior angles?
Are angles that lie outside the two lines that are cut by a transversal.
What are alternate interior angles?
They are interior angles that lie on opposite sides of a transversal. If the lines are paralle, then the alternate interior angles are congruent.
What are alternate exterior angles?
They are exterior angles that lie on opposite sides of a transversal. If the lines are parallel, then the alternate exterior angles are congruent.
What are corresponding angles?
They are angles that lie on the same side of a transversal, in corresponding positions with respect to the two lines that it intersects. If the lines are parallel, then the corresponding angles are congruent.
What are adjacent angles?
They are angles that share a common side and a common vertex.
What is a point?
It is a single location or position that has no size or dimension.
What is a line?
A line is all the points on a straight path; it extends in both directions without end.
What is a ray?
A ray is all the points on a straight path; it extends in one direction from an endpoint without ending.
What is a segment?
A segment is all the points on the straight path between two endpoints, including the two endpoints.
What are intersecting lines?
Intersecting lines are lines that meet at a point.
What are parallel lines?
Parallel lines are lines in the same plane that never intersect.
What are perpendicular lines?
Perpendicular lines are lines that meet to form right angles.
What is transversal?
It is a line that intersects two or more lines in the same plane at different points.
What is the sum of interior angles of a polygon?
180degrees (n-2)
n= number of sides of the polygon. |

What is area?
It is the measure of the region inside a plane figure.
What is surface area?
It is the measure of the outside of a solid.
What is volume?
It is the amount of space a solid takes up.
What is the mean?
It is the sum of the numbers in a data set divided by how many numbers there are in the data set. (average)
What is the median?
The median is the miffle number in a data set, arranged from least to greatest.
What is the mode?
The mode is the number that occurs the most in a data set.
What is the range?
The range tells you how far teh numbers in a data set are spread out. Subtract the smallest number from the largest.
