-Mononucleosis-like syndrome

-No medical cure but people usually recover within 6-8wks
-can cause severe illness, liver damage, death, premature/spontaneous abortion

-Genital Warts
-Venerel Warts (condyloma acuminata)
-Transmitted by direct contact w/ warts in genital and anal area
-Incubation: 6wks to 8 months
-Can increase risks of developing cancer
-Strains 16&18 responsible for about 70% of cervical cancer
-May not have symptoms
-Madication, freezing, and laser may remove but not always cure
