1. Select a Cluster
2. Right-click on the cluster and click Edit Settings

NOTE: Make sure DRS is turned on - if it is, you should see DRS options here. If it is not turned on, you will need to turn it on by clicking on Cluster Features and selecting "Turn on vSphere DRS"

1. Click on Cluster, right-click and Edit.
2. Select VMware EVC
3. Click on Change EVC Mode to modify the cluster EVC mode.
4. Select the desired mode from the dropdown box (if the mode is not compatible with the processors running in your hosts, you will get errors).
5. When you choose a mode that is compatible it will show as Validation Succeeded.
6. Click OK.

1. Select a cluster and click the Alarms tab.
2. Click the Definitions button.
3. Right-click a white area of that pane and select New Alarm.
4. Enter in an Alarm name and Description.
5. From the Alarm type drop-down, select Cluster.
6. Click the Triggers tab.
7. Click the Add Button
8. Click the Event in the Event column to get a drop-down menu.
9. Select the Event you want to alarm on.
10. Click on the Actions tab.
11. Click Add and select a desired action from the drop-down and when the action should be initiated (when alarm goes from green to red, red to green, etc.).
12. Click OK when finished.

1. Right-click on a DRS cluster and click Edit settings.
2. Under vSphere DRS, select Virtual Machine Options.
3. Ensure that the "Enable individual virtual machine automation levels" check box is checked.
4. In the Automation Level column, change the virtual machines to the desired automation level using the drop-down.
5. Click OK.
