After one year of service two weeks vacation. After 5 years of service 3 weeks vacation. After 11 years of service 4 weeks vacation. After 17 years of service 5 weeks vacation. After 23 years of service 6 weeks vacation. |

Vacation eligibility and usage |
Use-it-or-lose-it vacation policy. Officers hired after December 31st of 2000 must complete one full year of service before being eligible for vacation after the completion of the one year of service police officers will be entitled to utilize a prorated amount of vacation from their anniversary date until December 31st |

Vacation pay cash out |
For each week of vacation police officer shall receive his normal weekly pay in accordance with his regular pay scale by agreement the city and police officers involved vacation benefits may be liquidated in cash |

Vacation scheduling |
It will be conducted with each specific division on each shift if applicable and done with by departmental seniority. Vacation must first be scheduled inweekly full increments by seniority and then done by seniority for daily or less than weekly increments. |
