Corticospinal Tracts: Damage leads to Upper motor neuron type signs= hyperreflexia
Polio
Characterized by degeneration of Ant horn cells
Tertiary syphilis
Neuromuscular symptoms due to posterior column degeneration
Syringomyelia
degeneration of Ant white commissure (pain and temp sensations affected)
Guillian Barre Syndrome
Characterized by loss of lower motor neurons and sensory nerve function.

Dx is mostly limited to demyelination of peripheral nerves
Pernicious Anemia (B12 deficiency)
degeneration of posterior columns and corticospinal tracts
