a topographic map is a tool that shows elevation of land by using a series of connected lines.

a relief map is a tool that shows the elevation of land by using raised, or bumpy surfaces to represent the shape and elevation of the land.

is the process in which all kinds of rocks are broken down into smaller pieces over time.
mechanical weathering
occurs when plants are chemicals change the rocks into new substances, causing the rock th break down into smaller pieces.
