Us constitution

Written plan of government for the us created in 1787

Preamble

Introduction to the us constitution that includes the goals of the us

Legislative branch

The branch of government that makes the laws

Executive branch

The branch of government that enforces the laws

Judicial branch

The branch of government that interprets the laws

States rights

all states are guaranteed representation in the government, government preotection, and equal rights to other states.

Amendment process

Amendment to the us constitution must be proposed by 2/3 of the congress and approved by 3/4 of the states

Supremacy clause

The us constitution is the supreme law of the land. It must be followed, and no law in the us may go against it.

Ratification

9 out of 13 states must ratify before it comes law in those states. 11 out of 13 must ratify before it becomes law for the entire country.
