Online Services
Something that provides some type of service online, its a general outline of what happens online.
Real Time information
This is the use of online services that frequently update such as the weather, or sports website.
Commerce
Commerce is an outline of shopping websites, basically buying and seling products. Eg. Amazon, Ebay. E-commerce is the buying and selling of things online.
VLE
These are educational websites, the virtual learning sites where you are able to revise online, or do activitys linked in to there school work.
Online Advertising
this is where you advertise products using the internet such as pop-up adverts, and adding websites on to search engines like google.
Search engine
Websites that are specifically designed to search information on the world wide web. Eg Google.
Banner Ads
This is when adverts pop up on various websites, or applications.
Spam
When people send you dodgy messages and hack your emails.
Unsolicited bulk email
This is an email that is sent to a group recipients who have not requested it.
Affiliate Model
Something associated with advertising, this is when companies pay google to have adverts on google.
Pay Per Click
An nternet advertising model used to direct traffic to websites, in which advertisers pay the publisher hen the ad is clicked.
Online Communication
Some people use the internet to communicate with friends and family, they mainly use social media, eg twitter.

An online community is a virtual community that exists online and whose members enable its existence through taking part in membership ritual.

This is a social network, where friends communicate with each other.
