A state of control that can control the pattern of alliances and the terms of international orders and often shapes domestic political development in countries throughout the world.

Welfare State

A set of public policies designed to provide for citizens' needs through direct or indirect provisions of pensions, healthcare, unemployment, insurance, and assistance to the poor.
