Ifa car company sold cars which has a death rate of 1 in 25 would you buy fromthem? No one would accept such a high risk rate. But sadly this is the rate oferror states with the death penalty have. As citizens of the United States weare contributing to the death of innocent hard working Americans thatcontribute to society.
Though you may not see the immediate impact of the death penalty on your life, what would happen if your brother is sentenced to death because to allegedly murdered his brother but was later found innocent only misfiring the gun. What would you do? Is there anything you could do now? No one likes their loved ones beingtaken away from them including the fact that they were completely innocent onlymakes it worse and frustrating.
Asa fellow American citizen of the United States, I would not like to see a lovedone pay with his/her life for a mistake they made, and instead I want to samethem change into kind, loving, responsible, and repenting citizens of theUnited States.
Instead of the death penaltyreducing the number of crimes and murders in the US, it is rather fueling acycle of violence and vengeance at the cost of Americans. :@[z
Thoughthe United States judicial system is somewhat free of corrupt officials thereare still yet many flaws, where there may not be enough evidence, new evidenceis found, or even racial bias of the judge
Mistakes are prone to happen including a case dealing with capital punishmentwhere 4.1 percent of the individuals sentenced to death are innocent. As thegovernment provides a reimbursement to an individual's who has jail time, you cannotdo the same with someone’s life.
