Myeloma (bone marrow tumour) produces a lot of immunoglobulin (single class Ig with same light chain)

Light chain forms amyloid material - AL

Deposited in: heart, liver, kidneys, spleen

Common causes: RA, inf. bowel disease, osteomyelitis, renal cell carcinoma, Hodgkin's disease

Asymptomatic but can cause enlarged waxy heart
