No rise in egt within 20 sec or rpm stabilizes below idle.

Egt rapidly rise through 750 degrees celcius. Do not exceed 871 degrees.

Fadec hot

1) discontinue any electrical power to fadecs for 30 to 60 minutes.


2) do not attempt engine start



After cooling process and before fadec operation.


3) confirm the absence of any engine related msp.



If engine operating


1) shutdown both engines.

1) throttle affected engine - off

Heat fail

1) throttles - off

Inlet ice

1) eng anti-ice switch - on

L or R oil hot

1) throttle affected engine - above 74%


2) eng page- identify out of limits parameter


If caution remains longer than 20 seconds


3) throttle affected eng - off within 5 mins

L or R thermal

1) eng page - monitor corresponding feed tank temp, fuel inlet temp, and fuel noz temp.

Fadec advisory

1) eng page - verify eng status


If engine status normal:


2) throttle affected eng - off


3) eng page - push unboxed channel (A or B) on affected eng


4) restart eng


If eng status is not normal or dual channels lined out:


1) shut down engines.
