Why do unexpecting shutdowns occur? |

-need to determine where this reboot process is occurring -BIOS screen or OS splash screen or home screen? -in Windows, you can press F8 to boot from last known working configuration -also pressing F8 at start up, will give you a SAFE MODE option in Windows Disable automatic restarts in system properties -replacing hardware and check connections |

-maybe no power from the outlet -no power from your power supply -test with multimeter -NO POST=bad motherboard -if it's a bad power supply because it has enough to power the fans but not anything else |
