Ceftriaxone or Cefotaxime; add Oxacillin or
Vancomycin if Staph.aureus is suspected
5 – 21 yrs
Macrolides ( oral or intravenous depending on severity)
Chlamydia Pneumonia:
Treated with Macrolides such as Erythromycin.
Mycoplasma Pneumonia:
Respond to Tetracyclines if intolerant
to macrolides.
