Simple tissue

Cells of same kind group together.


Example in human, muscular tissue and epithelial tissue.


Example in plant, epidermis tissue and mesophyll tissue.

Complex tissue

contain more than one type of tissue


For example, blood is a complex tissue as it contains red blood cells, white blood cells, platelets and plasma

More than one type of tissue working together for specific function.
