What are the four types of tissue ? |
Epithelial, muscle, connective, and nerve. |

Muscle tissue |
Made up of excitable cells that are long and fibrous. -contracts mobility Cardiac muscle, smooth mucle, and skeletal muscle. |

Epithelial tissue |
Made of flat cuboidal cells that join together making a single or stacked sheet. -protective cover. Lining of GI tract organs, other hollow organs, and skin surface ( epidermis). |

Connective tissue |
A connective web inside our body holding and supporting our body parts together. Fat and other soft padding, bone, and tendon. |

Nervous tissue |
Found within the nervous system. Neurons( specialized cells) conduct impulses that transmits signals from nerves to the spinal cord and brain. Brain, spinal cord, and nerves. |
