The definition of the terms used.

Gathering and thinking-information on the task/event information on resources information on risks and benefits. Information on progress.


What is the environment, what is happening, is the situation static or developing, what was it that led up to the event, who was involved, are there any immediate risks to anyone.


Objectives-


What you want to be achieved in order to reduce the risk to people. Objectives and the plan subsequently developed to implement them, should provide outcomes that are achievable with an acceptable level of risk for the situation.


Plan -


Developing a course of actions designed to deliver the required outcomes with an acceptable level of risk to those involved.


Communicating-


Making sure effective communication is in place, ensuring that all information is accurate, relevant, at the right time. Communication will help us keep updated on the progress.


Controlling-


Ensuring that all those involved in the plan are taking the actions required.


Ensuring everyone knows there roles and they are carrying them out efficiently.


Overseeing that tasks are completed as you have asked them todo so etc


Evaluating-


Gathering information and observations to decide if the plan is effectively working or if there is something else we can do or not do to improve the situation.


Outcome-


The outcome is what was achieved or the result of the event, and the plan that has been carried out.
