During the apostolic period what is one event?

Objected and became persecuter of efarly Christians. Had orders from cheif priest to apprehend Jews in Damascas. On the way God struck him down and told him what he was to do. He believes Jesus came to him. Believes that his personal encounter led to his conversion. After the conversion he becomes the leader. He writes what becomes 1/3 of the New Testament. He is the most significant person in the apostolic age.

Occurs in 451. Significant because the Church states the doctrine of the trinity in the words of Nicene Creed. The creed is finished and the Church has definitive statements.
Medieval period
500-1500 Discovery of America ended this period and with America came the rising of Nationalism and loyalties became to their own nation first and then to Rome.
Martin Luther
Most important person of the Modern Era. Catholic priest who belonged to Augustineans. Had undergone a spiritual journey and wanted to see the Catholic church revive itself. In Oct. 1597 he write 95 thesis which he thought the Church should consider as reform. He nailed these to the door and was arrested and charged as a heretic and excommunicated. There was a jail break, he escaped and he split he Church between Catholic and Protestant.

What does the old testament deal with?
The pele we eventually know as Jews their tribal name and ethnical identity was Hebres. In the earliest history they were a wandering nomatic tribe whose Tribal name and language was Hebrew. Scriptures of old testament was Hebrew it records from beginning to end God.

Many Christians think these books should be excluded because they are Pre Christian. IT is out of a Jewish understanding written in Greek. Many Protestant's don't use it.

Old Testament how is the will of God dispensed. It is in the person of Jesus. Dispensation and revelation mean about the same thing.
Inspiration
All bible reading Christians understand the Bible is inspired by God and it says something important to our faith, belief, practice ect. The bible came to us from God and tells us what God wants us to know.
What was Gods involvement in the writing of the scriptures?
Some believe God practically or maybe did dictate the bible. The writers were scribes. If you believe this you probably believe the Bible is true. Infallible. About everything. Probably believe they are infallible in a historical and scientifical sense. Many believe it was the action of the holy spirit guiding the people not word for word dication. These people believe the bible is more of a guide to theology. Some say it was written same as any other book but it's how the holy spirit acts on you when you read it that makes it special.

Old testament Tells the story of the Book of Genesis tells how things gt to be the way they are begins with the story of Abraham and Sarah.
