where did Augustine first for the truth
Augustine was reading a book as a student in Carthage that stirred in him a desire for knowledge. Augustine being from a religious family went to the bible for his answers. the bible's clumsy translation repelled Augustine and did not satisfy his cultivated literary standards
why did he find the manichee's theology appealing
