Obstacle

Something that is in the way of a character achieving their goal.

Tatic

The means by which a character seeks to achieve their objective

Expectation

the character's expectation of succeeding in achieving his/her goal; what the character thinks will happen.

Monologue

a long form speech delivered by a single character in a play or a film

Aside

dramatic device in which a character speaks to the audience.

Soliloquy

an act of speaking one's thoughts aloud when by oneself or regardless of any hearers, especially by a character in a play.

Dialogue

When two characters speak with each other.

Stage whisper

A whisper that's loud so the audience can hear.

Epiglottis

small, movable "lid" just above the larynx

the hollow muscular organ forming an air passage to the lungs and holding the vocal cords in humans and other mammals; the voice box.
