THE BEGINNING
-Improved agriculture led to creation of India's first cities around 3000BCE in the Indus River Valley
-The settlement contains a number of remains of the ancient Indian civilization: Horata. This site is currently in Pakistan which separated India in 1947

-The evidence that suggests that elements of this story may have been partly true include: Locations in the story were investigated by archaeologists, floods in the story actually happened, pottery from story found, cities in the story are still there today
