The process set forth in the Constitution by which the President and Vice President of the US are elected.

It must be administered as written in the constitution. During obamas 2009 inauguration ceremony the word "faithfully" was spoken out of place by both Supreme Court judge and Obama. As a precaution the President was sworn in correctly and privately the next day.
