How did Putin manage to come to power?

Putin came to power through the norma clitora. They were the people that money didn’t matter very much instead they opts for trade. It’s a state system, in which there is an elite. Putin started from the bottom, was a KGB member, worked for a governor, then became part of Yeltsin's cabinet and Yeltsin eventually chose him as his successor when his health continued to fail him. In the Soviet Union having money did not mean too much in terms of politics. Status was more important. |

The nomenklatura were the people that money didn’t matter very much instead they opts for trade. It’s a state system, in which there is an elite. In the soviet union having money did not mean anything. Status was the most important. They were able to transition from that era so successfully because they did not have a reliance on money. It was all about status. There were about 400,000 members of the nomenklatura. They held a certain prestige to them. They held a lot of power and managed to survive. They got hold of the vouchers and used them to make their own money. Berzevosky was low ranking on the nomenklatura. These people were connected with the youth movement as well. |
