Explain the parable of the sower
The sower is God and the seed is the word. The soil is our heart. If we have a good heart then when God plants the seed it will grow. However, if we have a heart with thorns then it will choke out the word.

in the end of times the angels will come and sort the good from the bad. They will throw the evil into a fiery furnace.

by taking a little pinch of yeast and sticking it right in the middle of the dough. When you leave it it grows on its own.
How can we compare the leaven to the to the kingdom of God?
You put it in the middle (or in the heart) and then it spreads. It influences how a person thinks and begins to spread. The influence then brings change

The hidden treasure and the precious pearl

A man finds and covers up a treasure. He then sells all that he has and buys the field.

Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant in search of fine pearls, who, on finding one pearl of great value, went and sold all that he had and bought it.
What does the Parable of the precious pearl tell us about the kingdom?
That the kingdom is searchable. It can be found and is worth the effort it actually takes to find it.

A man was brought before his king because he owed a debt. He could not pay it off and the king ordered that he be sold (along with his family and his things) So that he could pay for the debt.

o The wages that are paid are beyond anything that we could expect
