How does Enkidu die?

Gilgamesh rejects Ishtar's advances, and she brings down the mighty bull of heaven to threaten Uruk. Gilgamesh and Enkidu kill the bull but Gilgamesh dreams the gods decreed E's death. Enkidu dreams about being taken to the house of dust and taken before Belitsheri (who keeps a book of death) and he died.

What does Gilgamesh do after Enkidu's death?

What is the story of the flood?

The world became over-populated and Enlil exterminated mankind, but Ea warned Utnapishtim. Ea told him to build a boat, and take his family and the seed of all living creatures aboard. He batters down until the destroying rains (Adad) ended. When they subsided, he released a dove and a swallow in search of land. They returned. When he released the raven it didn't come back. Utnapishtim made a sacrifice for the gods and they gathered and blessed him and his wife and let them live at the mouth of the river.

What happened when Gilgamesh found Utnapishtim and his wife?

He told Gilgamesh he'd give him immortality if he could pass the test of not sleeping. Gilgamesh fell asleep and they baked bread to show how long he was asleep.

What happened when Gilgamesh woke up?

They took him to be washed, and Urshanabi told him about a plant that grows underwater that will hurt his hands but restore youth.

Did Gilgamesh retrieve the plant?

He did, but a serpent snatched it away.
