The majority of colonists.

Who were the white loyalists?

The majority of the white loyalists were loyal to the British, most ended up moving to Canada.

Who were the Native Americans?

The american colonists took most of the Native American's land. They had to work for the british, and nothing in the declaration of independence helped them. Encouraged to stay out of all the conflicts.

Who were the African-Americans

Most african-americans were enslaved. The declaration of independence didn't help them. Hesitant to fight for the colonists. Very neutral about all of the conflicts.

Who were the British?

Always on their own side, colonists enemy, oppressives, wanted to keep their land, mistreated the colonists.

Germans- Supplied mercenaries (profession, neutral, hired soldiers) to British

They formed a committee to write a document declaring the colonies independence. A committee also created a seal for the new country with a latin motto.
